Pomodroid
By start-app, 02 - 12 - 2011Pomodroid is a time management application based on The Pomodoro Technique™ developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The main idea of Pomodoro Technique™ is to get things done by staying focused on task for 25-minute indivisible periods of work time called pomodoros separated by breaks. Pomodroid will help every user of this technique anywhere and anytime.
According to the technique, Pomodroid features are based on the following steps:
- Group tasks in two lists: Activity List and ToDo List
- Work on the user selected task
- Set the pomodoro to 25 minutes (customizable)
- Work on the task until the timer rings
- Take a short break
- Every four pomodoros take a longer break
Pomodroid is the unique application which implements every detail of the original Pomodoro Technique. It includes:
- Customizable timers (pomodoros)
- Voidable pomodoros
- List management: Activity List, ToDo List and done tasks.
- Both external and internal interruption management.
- Statistics collections
- Customizable alert sounds (supporting vibration).
There are two versions of Pomodroid application available: a Pro version and a Lite version. The Pomodroid Lite application lets you check the application for free. It offers a reduced set of features.
